-Ketchikan-

Ketchikan has a rainforest climate but we were lucky enough to be there during a four day "drought". We did a little shopping and visited the post office which happened to be located in the town taxidermy office....um...ok? We then headed up to our final shore excursion, zip-lining!

We took a six-wheeler to the top of a mountain and got suited up with harnesses and a safety demonstration. Our guides were two young and very nice guys, Chris and Chris, one of them from Boise! We rode 8 zip lines, some as high as 150 feet in the air and also two suspension bridges. The scariest part by far was sitting on the platforms at the top of the trees....we quickly became "tree-huggers"!!

Ready....Set....
